Next week is going to be a mixed week here on Applied Linguistics (Re)Coded. On Monday, I’m going to discuss the need for a more global perspective in applied linguistic theorizing, especially as it relates to notions of identity. This will be done by showing how a very western academic discipline, queer theory, has benefitted from the acknowledgment of non-western interpretations of queer theory and experiences.
